There once was a rebel named Hunter 'Havoc' Smith. He was a great rebel, he fought the Combine, keeping them from having the full grip on City 8. This, is his story.
// This story is based of of my galactic gamers server rebel, it's custom so it's a little different then how it's actually played out, some of these were real events that happened in the server. Here we go.
Hunter 'Havoc' Smith was born on September 5th, 1982. He grew up as a normal kid, he would play with his friends everyday outside, he would play sports with his dad, and he would hang out with his mom when his dad wasn't around. When he was only 8 when his mom was shot during a robbery at the store she worked at. She lived but she was injured very badly. His mom recovered but sadly, his mom was given painkillers from her doctor to fight back the pain of the wound. This would change everything. His mom got addicted to painkillers, when she was not allowed to get anymore painkillers, she got them illegally from dealers. That lead to her doing other drugs, and led her to drinking. She died on September 5th, 1991, on Hunters birthday. This scarred Hunter to the max. His sad starting drinking to hold back the stress and pain. One day while his dad was out at the bar, his dad was driving home when....he crashed. His dad died in the drunken driving accident. He was put into foster care, he was adopted by a family in 1996. Just a few months after being in the family, he ran away to live on the streets. When he turned 15, after a longtime of being on the streets, he got a job at a local store. From there he lived for a few months on the street before he got enough money for an apartment. It was a few years later when the unthinkable happened...Black Mesa. It was all over the news...

Black Mesa Destroyed, as Portal Storms Continue!
Black Mesa Research Facility, was destroyed today in a fireball. The facility was invaded by aliens, according to the information we have so far. HECU Soldiers, from the US Military, were sent to Black Mesa to destroy the facility and possibly save people! A scientist by the name of Gordon Freeman has created chaos among the facility, shooting HECU soldiers, as well as fighting aliens. Gordon Freeman and the whole facility, as well as the remaining HECU Soldiers, were killed by a nuclear explosion that has been set off. Reports of "Portal Storms" have been arisen, many believe these weird occurrences are connected to the disaster at Black Mesa. Shelters are being put up. Head to your nearby shelter for safety... God help us.
The storms were the worse part, Headcrabs were turning people into weird....things, that almost resembled a zombie. Vortigaunts, the weird aliens with the weird language, look, at mean attacks. Along with the bull squids, ant lions, and Houndeyes, along with the other creatures. These creatures were from the planet Xen, which was an alien planet, being researched by the Black Mesa scientists. After a long time, the combine invaded. By now, the portal storms had died down. Hunter remembered the seven hour war, he remembered seeing the thousands of US Soldiers being slaughters by these alien forces. He hid from the soldiers, then one day he saw it....it was his father. He thought in his head "How? I must be seeing things...but how is he shooting and...oh my god!" That was it, he knew, his father had not died, it was a conspiracy, so his dad could leave his family. A dead man walks...not for long. Hunter grabbed a pipe and swung...not at his father, but an alien soldier. The soldier was stunned, he grabbed his gun and slaughtered 10 soldiers. His father recognized him, they had a chat then...a blue laser...a shot...blood everywhere...father...on ground. His father...was dead. He sat there for a moment before coming to realization that he better the hell out of the way before he ends up like his father. He ran for the alleyway wall, he got there literally a millisecond before the shot was fired. The shot hit where he was, a millisecond before, right on the edge of the alleyway wall. He grabbed some ammo from a combine soldier and he ran for his life. He was in an alleyway when he heard something. He turned, it was nothing. Or was it? He heard "Drop the weapon" from a deep voiced, almost robotic voiced man. He dropped the weapon before turning around, staring directly in the face of a combine soldier. He saw 2 soldiers come behind the soldier, blocking any exits behind the soldier in front of him. He turned and tried to run for the other exits, realizing they were all blocked by an extra 10 soldiers. He heard a sound before blackness. He woke up, locked into a torture chair. The soldiers tortured him, pulling out his teeth, beating him, cutting him, and they even shot him once or twice in miscellaneous areas. At the end they injected him with a green serum, before patching him up and throwing him into train, but not before putting him in a new City 18 uniform. He arrived at City 18. For a year, he lived like a normal human under the Combine rule. Then one curious day, when explored the slums, he found a resistance base. They had heard of him, they had observed his skills. They tested him, and they helped him. Almost immediately, without much testing, he was put into the resistance. He liked being in the resistance, he was fed good, and he was finally able to take all his anger off onto the combine. One day, the team of resistance members, decided they were going to mug a Civil Protection unit. Hunter as assigned to the left flank, the other members went to the right and front flank. They went masks on and they went straight in. The robbed the CP unit and gunpoint, before inserting a live grenade into the units pocket and running away. That unit blew up and died that day. Weeks later, an inspection was called by civil protection. Due to the fact that they had guns, uniforms, and tons of other contraband, they didn't go to the inspection. A miscount was detected, and the overwatch was called in, there was a big battle between the resistance and the overwatch, the resistance won the battle. A month later, the resistance group smuggled themselves on a train with all their guns. When they arrived at City 8, they immediately used a map they had found to find the secret entrance into the sewers. The took there guns there stealthily and they got the base running again in the sewers. Later on they got into a big fight between the Civil Protection and overwatch. Hunter had found a sniper and decided to use it as an advantage against the Combine. His fellow members exchanged fire with the opposing Combine forces as Hunter provided flank fire from the window. Then in a near death situation, an overwatch soldier got his way into the sniper position tower. Hunter almost got killed by the soldier, but the soldier gave him a chance by telling him to drop his weapon. That's when a miracle happened, the resistance Headcrab came up behind the soldier, the Headcrab quickly jumped on the overwatch soldiers head and attacked him, killing the soldier. The crab came off his head and followed Hunter back down to the base(this actually happened). Other fights arose and in one notable one, an APC was deployed, almost killing all the members. After about a half a year in City 8, they smuggled themselves to the Earths Administrators home city...City 17(OOC it's the City 17 Build 167 map). The base was established and they have been hanging out in the City 17 sewers ever since. To be continued(will continue according to the rp situations that actually happen)........
