<:: Units recieve warning order. ::>
<:: All units will dress off shoulder to shoulder and will be inspected individually by the unit leading the patrol. Ensuring weapons are loaded, they have enough ammunition and other bits of equipment needed. As well as ensuring they don't have equipment they don't need. ::>
<:: The patrol leader falls into his desired position, telling the units what formation he wishes to use and gets the pointman to step off. ::>

<:: React to Effective Enemy Fire. ::>
<:: The patrol has taken fire from an unknown force and unknown direction. The first reaction is "Double Dash Down". Meaning two shots from a 9mm, or two bursts from an SMG where you think the fire came from, dash to cover and get down. ::>
<:: The patrol leader calls in a contact report at this time. ::>
<:: The patrol leader or second in command may at this time choose to withdraw, if by his own reasons or orders. ::>

<:: Locating the Enemy ::>
<:: The primary objective of all the units now is to locate the hostile force. A common way of doing this is a GRIT, Group, Range, Indication, Type of Fire. It is however up to the unit to follow this exactly. Group refers to Your group, if you are split and covering different arcs with another unit, you would refer to yourselves. Range is how far they are, Indication is their appearance. Type of fire, Heavy, Light, Frags, etc. All based on the type of target. ::>

<:: Winning the Firefight ::>
<:: At this stage you have one thing in mind, massive overwhelming firepower of that force engaging you. All units once alerted to where they lay are to lay a heavy spray down on them. Ensuring they must stay in their cover, once you have the superiority of firepower, the fight is nearly won. ::>
<:: The patrol leader or second in command may at this time choose to withdraw, if by his own reasons or orders. ::>

<:: Advance ::>
<:: At this stage, it is decided if yo uare to pull back or commence a hasty attack. ::>
<:: Choosing to advance, units will perform Cover/Move drills until they reach the enemys strongpoint. This can be done in a "Patrol" or "Group" fashion. Patrol being one half of the patrol covers while the other moves, and vice versa. While Group is when one unit covers his partner and the advance such as that. It must be done with even numbers however or one unit can be left to provide overwatch. ::>

<:: Once a duo of units is close enough, they will yell "Taking the Point/Bunker/Trench/Etc.!". If they have grenades, now is the time to use them. After the grenade has gone off, they quickly spray the area where the shooters had been, ensuring they have been killed. ::>

<:: Consolidate/Re-Org ::>
<:: The order will be given by the IC of the patrol or his 2IC. "Re-Org" He can say anywhere, 20 meters past objective, On the objective, anything. Here an Ammo/Cas report is conducted. Who got shot, who died, who needs ammo, etc. ::>
<:: If you Re-Org past the area, the units who took the point will run back, ensuring the enemy is dead and grabbing weapons, intel, etc. ::>
<:: The IC of the patrol radios in the results of the attack, it is now he recieves orders to continue pushing or if he is to fall back. ::>
